Build 20 minutes of buffer between your ceremony end and portraits. A rushed timeline is the number-one thing that costs couples images. If you can do a first look, even better — it gives you more time together before the ceremony and a calmer, more intimate moment than seeing each other at the altar for the first time.
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Yes. Based in Winston-Salem, I shoot weddings across North Carolina and travel nationally and internationally for destination weddings. Travel and accommodation are factored into destination pricing — reach out with your location and I will put together the details.
What is the difference between photo-only, film-only, and hybrid?
Photo-only gives you a full gallery. Film-only gives you a cinematic wedding film. Hybrid gives you both — shot by the same person, in the same style, with no coordination between separate vendors. Most couples end up wanting both, and the hybrid package is the most efficient and cohesive way to get there.
How many photos will we receive?
Typically 600–900 images for a wedding, depending on the size of the day and how it flows. I do not pad galleries and I do not cull to an arbitrary number. You receive every image worth having.
How long until we receive our gallery and film?
Galleries are delivered in 4–6 weeks. Wedding films in 8–12 weeks. Both timelines are outlined in your contract so there are no surprises.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes. Engagement sessions are available as an add-on and are included in select packages. Beyond the portraits themselves, a session is a good way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day.
What if it rains on our wedding day?
Rain does not stop the day and it does not stop me. Some of the best images happen in weather. I come prepared for any conditions and I find the light wherever it is.
Do you carry backup equipment?
Yes. Multiple camera bodies, lenses, and lighting. Equipment failure is not a risk on your wedding day.

When I say choosing Noah Overby as your one stop shop for all things photography is the best choice you can make, I mean it. 10/10, I have zero notes. Noah went above and beyond for my wife and I! We ended up getting married quickly on a Friday evening after planning to just do a courthouse wedding. The courthouse was completely booked until February 7th so we decided to call a family friend in to officiate since we had already waited 3 years of engagement to be wed. The only thing missing was quality photos. After having worked with Noah for a pregnancy shoot I thought maybe he'd be willing to work with us in a crunch time situation and he absolutely came through. He surprised my wife at the wedding who had no idea we had talked and took time out of his busy schedule to make it happen. The photos came out beautifully and he still pulled out all of the stops although going to the beach with his family shortly after that same night. Great photographer; greater man.
