NORTH CAROLINA Commercial PHOTOGRAPHER & videographer
FOR SMALL BUSINESSES TO LARGE CORPORATIONS.The Work
Your Business Has a Story. Most Never Tell It Right.
Whether you are one person with a truck and a trade, a company in real growth, or a corporation with a marketing department and an approval chain, the problem is usually the same. There is something genuinely worth seeing inside the business, and nobody outside it can see it.
I work with founders, operators, builders and the teams around them. My job is to understand what you are actually trying to say, who needs to hear it, and what you need them to do about it, then document that in a way that makes the right people stop scrolling and pay attention. Not with tricks. With honesty and craft.
Scale changes the logistics. It does not change the standard. A three person construction outfit and a five hundred person organization get the same discipline in planning, the same care on the day, and the same finished quality. What changes is volume, coordination and how many people have to sign off.
Ongoing Content
Pricing follows involvement, not a content quota. The more time I spend inside your business, the more there is worth showing, so these are built on how often I am there rather than on a fixed number of files. Scope varies too much between businesses for a quota to mean anything honest. Every engagement gets scoped in the conversation, and all four run on a three month minimum.
Presence
One day a month on site, built around what is actually happening that month. Enough to stop being invisible and start looking like the operation you already are. This is the right starting point for a business that has never had real content and needs a foundation before anything else.
Growth
Two days a month, plus the planning that sits around them. Twice the time on site means twice the raw material and enough rhythm to build momentum rather than just keep the lights on. This is where most businesses land, and where the work stops being a one-off and starts compounding.
Authority
Three days a month. At this level I am close enough to your business to catch the things a monthly visit misses entirely, and there is room for strategy alongside the shooting instead of just delivery. Right for companies where content already has a job to do and needs to do it better.
Dominance
Every week. At this point I am effectively part of your marketing operation rather than a vendor visiting it, and turnaround tightens so the work stays current instead of landing after the moment has passed. Built for organizations running content as a core function.
One Time Projects
Not everything needs to be ongoing. If you want to see what this looks like before committing to anything, start here.
Content Day
A full day capturing the real work, and a website built from what we shoot. The Squarespace build and a professional email on your own domain are included, because a video still needs somewhere good to point. No ongoing commitment attached. If you decide afterward that you want a retainer, we start that conversation then.
Campaigns & Launches
Product launches, brand films, recruitment pushes and multi day or multi location productions. These vary too much to price on a page honestly, so tell me what you are trying to accomplish and by when, and I will put together a written proposal with firm numbers.
Events & Conferences
Corporate events, conferences, ribbon cuttings and community days, covered as photo, video or both. Delivered fast enough to still be useful while people are talking about it.
Production Services
The specific pieces businesses and agencies come to me for, available inside a retainer or on their own.
Corporate Headshots
Professional headshots for individuals, leadership teams and full organizations. Consistent lighting and style across every person, whether that is five executives or five hundred employees. Coordinated with HR and operations so the day costs your team as little time as possible.
Marketing Video
Brand films, product video and campaign content built to do a job, not to look busy. I handle pre production planning, scripting support, shoot execution and post, and deliver cut for the places you are actually publishing.
Agency Partnership
Available as a production contractor for creative and advertising agencies. I integrate into your workflow, execute against your creative direction, and deliver files to your specs and naming conventions. NDAs and confidentiality agreements are standard, not a negotiation.
Corporate Communications
Internal video, training content, institutional documentation and event coverage. Content that communicates clearly to your team, your board or your stakeholders, built for the full lifecycle of a communications strategy rather than one campaign.
Recruitment Content
Hiring is the most expensive problem most businesses have, and almost nobody films it. Careers pages, day-in-the-life content and crew footage that shows people what the work actually looks like before they apply. I built one for a grading company and it filled their applicant pipeline.
Website & Domain Setup
A video needs somewhere good to point. I build the site out of the content we shoot rather than dropping footage into a template, and I set up professional email on your own domain so you stop running a business off a gmail address. Included with a content day.
The Process
The same four steps whether the project is one day or a year long engagement. Bigger jobs just have more inside each one.
Discovery
A real pre production conversation. Your objectives, your audience, your stakeholders, your timeline and your approval process, understood before anything else happens.
Planning
Shot lists, schedules, location scouting, talent coordination and logistics, documented and shared in advance. Nothing important gets figured out on the day.
Production
Efficient, professional execution. I work quickly and cleanly, and I plan around your operations rather than asking your operations to stop for me.
Delivery
Finished files in the formats you need, with clear naming. Review rounds included, revisions handled promptly, timelines set before we ever shoot.
The Difference
You Are Not Hiring a Vendor. You Are Hiring a Perspective.
Most commercial photographers show up and execute a shot list. I show up having already done the work of understanding your business, your audience and what the content has to accomplish, before I ever lift a camera.
My background in the military and in law enforcement means I understand mission driven cultures from the inside. I know the difference between what an organization says about itself and what is actually true on the ground, and I know that the second one is what people respond to.
That is also why the tiers on this page are starting points rather than boxes. Pricing follows your scope, your market and your goals, because no two businesses need the same thing. Reach out and we will work out what actually makes sense for yours.
FAQ
Common Questions
What businesses, from one person operations to corporations and agencies, ask before bringing me on.
Do not wait until you have something “worth filming” to start. The content that performs best documents the process, not the polished result, and the process is happening right now. If you are running a headshot day instead, send your team a wardrobe guide one to two weeks out. Solid colors, no logos, no busy patterns. It is the single biggest variable on the day and it costs nothing to control in advance.
How much does business content cost?
Ongoing retainers run from $2,000 a month for one day on site up to $7,500 a month for weekly involvement. Pricing follows how often I am there rather than a fixed number of deliverables, because scope varies too much between businesses for a quota to mean anything honest. A one time project day starts at $2,500 and includes a website build and professional email setup, with nothing ongoing attached. Event coverage starts at $1,500. Larger campaigns are scoped individually, and if you are building a budget request or need firm figures in writing, ask and I will put together a proposal you can submit.
I am a small business. Is this only for large companies?
No. Most of my business clients started as small operations and several still are. The Presence tier exists for exactly that situation, and the one time project day exists so you can start without committing to anything ongoing. Scale changes the logistics and the volume, not the standard of the work.
What is the minimum commitment for a retainer?
Three months. That is the minimum time needed to build a content library, learn what performs for you, and start seeing results compound. If you are not ready for that, start with a single project day instead. There is no obligation attached to it and plenty of clients begin that way.
Do we own the content you create?
Yes. Everything created for your business under a retainer or project agreement is yours, with full commercial usage rights included. I retain the right to show the work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise.
Do you provide raw files?
No. What I deliver is finished, edited, ready to use work, and that is true at every price point. Raw files are not part of any package and are not available as an add on. The edit is where the work becomes the work, and unfinished frames would not represent your brand or mine well.
Can you handle large team headshot days?
Yes. I have a system for moving large groups through a headshot day efficiently while holding consistent lighting and framing across every person. Give me the headcount and the time window and I will build a schedule that works around your operations rather than interrupting them.
Do you work with advertising and creative agencies as a vendor?
Yes. I am available as a production contractor on day rate or project rate. I execute against your creative direction, deliver files in your required formats and naming conventions, and operate under NDA. References available on request.
How far in advance should we book?
For headshot days and single shoots, two to four weeks is usually enough. For larger productions, multi location shoots and campaign work, six to eight weeks gives us room to plan properly. Rush projects are sometimes possible depending on availability, so ask rather than assume the answer is no.
What is the turnaround on deliverables?
Photos typically run five to seven business days and video ten to fourteen days, depending on volume. At the highest level of involvement that tightens further. Every timeline is fixed in the agreement before we shoot, so your team can build a posting schedule around it with confidence.
Can you travel, or work across multiple locations and days?
Yes. Multi location and multi day productions are well within scope, and most of my current business clients are outside my immediate area. Travel and logistics are built into the scope up front rather than added as a surprise later.
How do you get up to speed on our business before showing up?
Every engagement starts with a session on your business, your customer and what the content has to accomplish, before any shooting happens. I come from a background where understanding the mission before you move is not optional, and that same discipline applies here.
